Dr. Jenna Ward, NCSP
Dual Licensed Clinical and School Psychologist
Dr. Jenna Ward is a dual licensed clinical psychologist and school psychologist. She received her PhD through the University of Minnesota Department of Educational Psychology, School Psychology program in May 2016. Dr. Ward is a licensed psychologist in the state of Colorado through the Department of Regulatory Agencies (CO License Psychologist #5525).Â

Dr. Ward is also a Nationally Certified School Psychologist (NCSP) and is licensed in the state of Colorado through the Department of Education to practice school psychology. She is a graduate of the Irving Harris Fellowship for Infant and Early Childhood Mental Health through the University of Colorado School of Medicine. Her perspective in both clinical and school settings ensures your child receives well rounded suggestions for all environments.Â

Audra Koning, MA
Speech-Language Pathologist
To ensure your child receives the most holistic care possible, Dr. Ward works in close collaboration with Audra Koning, a highly experienced and Colorado-licensed Speech-Language Pathologist. Audra received her Masters in Communication Disorders at Truman State University in Missouri. Audra brings three decades of expertise in communication disorders, helping to bridge the gap between language development and cognitive growth.

What is neuropsychological testing?
Neuropsychological testing refers to a comprehensive evaluation of the set of skills needed to be successful in daily life: cognitive, executive functioning, social emotional, communication, and adaptive. Neuropsychological evaluations provide information about the underlying skill set that your child needs to be succesful. In that way, supports are tailored to your child's strengths. No more guessing at what will work!Â
Why do I need a multidisciplinary evaluation?Â
Communication is the most impactful indicator of success in adult life. If concerns are only around AD/HD, why complete testing in other areas?
There are many overlapping characteristics across AD/HD, autism, anxiety, and other developmental differences. Often only some concerns are identified in children, leading to larger problems later in life. Based on the intake conversation, we will identify an assessment plan to provide a comprehensive picture of your child's strengths and needs.Â
What ages do you evaluate?
Our clinic provides specialized assessments for infants, children, and young adults, ranging from birth through age 21. Picking child specialists ensures that your family always feels welcome with us!Â
How long does the process take?
The process from start to final report meeting averages around 6 weeks. The timeline is dependent on coordinating schedules and the return of the questionnaires.
What should we bring?
Please bring or upload to your client portal any past school records, IEPs, prior evaluations, and any medical reports. It’s also helpful to have your child's favorite snack and water.
What is an IEE?
An Independent Educational Evaluation is a private assessment conducted by an outside specialist, often at the school district's expense, to provide an impartial review of a child's educational needs.
